We’re looking for participants of all ages and talents. March with us and make memories. Be seen. Be loud. Be proud.

*Please note that space is limited and submission of an application does not guarantee a spot in the parade. All groups and individuals must be reviewed and approved prior to participation.

COMMUNITY PARADE CHECKLIST

Prospective Parade Entry Participants Application & Approval:

• Submit your parade registration by the April 3, 2026 deadline with all requested details.  Parade Participation is FREE!
• Ensure your entry description matches what will appear in the parade (vehicles, walkers, animals, music, etc.).
• Participation is not confirmed until you receive official approval email confirmation from the City.
• Non-competitive Community Parade.

Waivers & Required Documents

• Complete and sign all waivers prior to parade day.
• Provide proof of insurance if required for your entry type.
• Drivers must hold valid licenses and current vehicle registration.

Arrival & Check in Area

• Arrive at the designated check in area at the assigned check-in time.
• Follow instructions from parade staff, volunteers, and law enforcement.
• Keep staging lanes clear for emergency and parade operations.

Safety Requirements

• Maintain a safe speed at all times; no sudden stops, swerving, or unsafe maneuvers.
• Riders must remain seated or securely positioned while vehicles are moving.
• Children must be supervised by an adult at all times.
• No throwing objects directly into the crowd—hand out items by walking along the curb line only.
• No open flames, fireworks, or hazardous materials.
• Animals must be well-controlled, properly secured, and cleaned up after.

Decorations & Equipment

• Secure decorations so they do not fall, blowoff, or obstruct drivers’ visibility.
• Ensure floats and equipment are structurally stable and safe for riders.
• Sound systems must be kept at reasonable levels and family-appropriate.

Conduct & Content

• Keep themes family-friendly and respectful.
• No alcohol, illegal substances, smoking, or vaping in the staging area or parade route.
• Political campaigning, offensive content, or disruptive behavior is not permitted.
• All participants must follow parade staff directions immediately.

Spacing & Movement

• Maintain assigned position and spacing between entries.
• Do not stop unless directed; keep the parade moving smoothly.
• Do not enter or exit the route except at designated areas.

Emergency & Incident Response

• Report accidents, injuries, or hazards to parade officials immediately.
• Keep clear access for emergency responders at all times.
• Follow all emergency announcements and directions without delay.

Clean-Up

• Remove all materials, props, and trash from the staging area and route.
• Avoid littering and respect city property and surrounding neighborhoods.

Compliance & Responsibility

• All participants must comply with City rules, state laws, and law-enforcement instructions.
• The City reserves the right to remove any entry that is unsafe, non-compliant, or disruptive.
• Participation is voluntary and at the participant’s own risk; entries are responsible for their conduct, equipment, vehicles, and any damages arising from their participation.

After the Parade

• Exit the parade route only as directed by staff.
• Reunite groups at designated pickup areas for safety.
• Share feedback via email with parade organizers to help improve future events.

Participant Registration Form

The Singing Showcase / Noche de Aficionados is a fun, karaoke-style singing competition open to participants of all ages! Join us on Sunday, April 19, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at the Annual City Carnival for an afternoon of music, talent, and community celebration.
This friendly competition will follow an elimination format, giving contestants the exciting opportunity to advance through rounds as they perform. Whether you’re a seasoned performer or simply love to sing, this is your chance to take the stage and showcase your talent in a lively and supportive atmosphere. Registration closes on April 10, so be sure to sign up before the deadline.
