Notice of Closed Circuit Television Inspection of Sewer Lines

Post Date:12/30/2025

NOTICE OF CLOSED-CIRCUIT TELEVISION INSPECTION

Empire Pipe Cleaning and Equipment, Inc. will be conducting a closed-circuit television inspection of the sewer lines in your neighborhood, under the supervision of Los Angeles County Public Works (Public Works), between January 5, 2026, and March 23, 2026.

The contractor will be in your neighborhood and will need access to manholes within sewer easements that may be located on your property. Please note that the contractor and Public Works employees will only need access to the exterior portions of your property to access the manholes.

Over a 10-year cycle, Public Works will inspect every foot of the sanitary sewer system and, where necessary, repair or replace broken or deteriorated sections of the sanitary sewers. This project is an integral part of the County's comprehensive efforts to comply with all Federal and State regulations.

This closed-circuit television inspection is part of our Condition-Assessment Program to proactively identify any defects in the sewer lines and perform needed repair or maintenance before they become problems for our customers. The program’s goal is to improve the quality of our infrastructure and protect public health by preventing sanitary sewer overflows and inconveniences resulting from problems in the sewer lines. More information on the program can be found on the website.

We appreciate your cooperation in providing our contractor and Public Works employees access to any sewer manholes that may be located on your property.

If you have any questions, please contact the contractor, Empire Pipe Cleaning & Equipment Inc., at (714) 639-8352 or LA County Public Works Department at (562) 941-7011.
