The City Council is committed to increasing security and safety for all, and has allocated an increasing portion of the budget towards this goal. The Safety Commission is also responsible for security issues and is an additional conduit between the residents and the City Council and government.
The City of Hawaiian Gardens contracts with the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department to provide law enforcement services.
